About Me

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me! I am a second grade teacher living in central California (halfway between L.A. and San Francisco).  I have spent the past three years teaching second grade students. I have such a passion for teaching and watching students make meaningful discoveries.

I have an amazing hubby who supports my creativity and craziness 110%! This includes weekend classroom trips, homework organization, and silly student crafts. Luckily, he loved school as a kiddo and enjoys visits to school supply and craft stores. I think his favorite part is picking out boy toys for my Treasure Box.  

 

I created this blog because I was inspired by the many teachers sharing their ideas out there! I love hearing what others are doing (what works and what doesn’t). I look forward to sharing what I’m learning and using in my class.
