I’m back for Week 2 of the TpT
Seller Challenge! This week the theme is Dare to Dream and we’re all sharing
our dreams and goals we hope to accomplish through our TpT shops.
First off, I never thought I would
earn much money when I put up my first couple of items. Then, those items kind
of took off. I made more than enough to cover the Premium Seller fee two months
in a row and figured I might as well jump in. From that point on I was hooked
and so motivated to create goodies for myself and other teachers. It's been a
struggle to balance family, teaching, blogging, and creating, but I’ve gained
so much from the experience.
Here are my TpT dreams...
Fund my planner addiction
I already had an office supply
addiction, but it’s become worse since purchasing a Kikki.K planner. Oh my
word, it’s terrible friends. I can not keep out of the office supply aisles of
ANY store. I think my favorite is Marshalls because everything is always
different. I have accumulated quite a collection of post-its, washi, paper
clips, and notepads.
Collaborate
I’ve made so many connections
through TpT and blogging. I love finding teachers who share my passion for
teaching and creating. I’m still working on stepping out of my comfort zone and
collaborating with other bloggers though. This is definitely a MAJOR goal of
mine.
Travel
I’ve been fortunate to have the
means to travel to many major U.S. cities, but would love to be able to travel
abroad. My husband and I have had our eyes set on seeing the sites of Ancient
Greece. It is my ultimate dream to visit Pompeii, the city that was buried
after the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. I was able to see replicas and artifacts
from the site when visiting The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA last
year. It was AMAZING, but I would love to see the real thing.
I’m very thankful for TpT and the doors it has already
opened for me. But I’m hopeful that there is more to come. What are some of
your dreams?
haha don't we all just hope that TpT can cover our addictions to office supplies, planners, clipart...etc!
